July 4 Nails

Happy Independence Day! I hope some of you are enjoying the life of gluttony and lounging on this beautiful day. Fireworks and barbecues. Ah, the good life…

Here’s a pic of the nail art I’m sporting in honor of America’s birthday.

I wanted to stray away from the typical red white and blue used for July 4th nail art, so I chose a pastel color palette. I rarely ever do nail art these days, but this was very simple. The only tool you need is a thin brush and that is available almost everywhere and is cheap, check out your local art supply stores. Of course, instead of a brush, you can just buy nail strippers.

Polishes used in the picture above were OPI Alpine Snow, Orly Snowcone, Revlon Provoke and Hard Candy Soda Pop.

Here’s another easier look featuring 2 gorgeous glitters.

Polishes used are the same as above with the addition of Wet N Wild Coast to Coast (LE Summer 2014 collection) and Nicole by OPI Party Bus
from the Carrie Underwood collection.
